Gesture gift gallery will be hosting a “Meet the Artist” reception and live sculpting demonstration by award-winning artist, June Towill Brown, on June 28 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. at their store at The Summit. Local owners Russ Schultz and Holly Evers selected Brown’s work to enhance their existing collections from other well-known artists.

One of the Southwest’s finest art shows recently presented the “Best and Brightest” award to Brown for her bronze sculpture “Bloodline”, which is now available at Gesture. Brown’s limited editions and themed “Series of Three” sculptures can be found around the world. Some of her most extraordinary work includes the Series of Arabian Horse, Treasures of the Sea, The World’s a Stage, The Indian Bust, Wild Life and Lone Eagle Feather.

Located at the south end of the Summit shopping center (next to Orvis), Gesture offers a interesting blend of European and American influenced and seasonally inspired unique gifts and home accessories ranging from one of a kind artist pieces to imports from Italy. The majority of the pieces range in price from $25-$2,000, thus branding the store to go to for a variety of occasions.
